Later that night we went to Fort Myers beach to walk around. We got there right as the sun was setting. There is nothing more beautiful than the beach at sunset.

An airplane flew over head, this was Wyatt's expression until it was out of sight

Playing on the beach with Gramps and Nana

The next day we spent the day on Captiva Island. The beach there was so nice and the weather was perfect. The waves were big which made it that much more fun. We all got pretty burned, but it was well worth it!

Wyatt loved collecting shells and chasing the birds up and down the beach
Sunday was a pretty lazy day for us, between spending the previous day at the beach and me throwing my back out (YUCK!), we didn't do much of anything during the day. That night we went to a park and had a little BBQ. The food was yummy and I'm guessing we were too because we all got eaten alive by mosquitos! I have about 20 bites on each leg and all over my arms!
Monday was a sad day... Gramps and Nana had to go home. We were sad to see them go. As we were pulling away from the airport Wyatt pointing to them out the window yelled "Hey! Hey!" I guess trying to figure out why we were leaving them. We are so glad that we were able to spend a long weekend with Nick's parents. They are the greatest! We love you Mom and Dad, see you in a few months!
