The last couple months I've really been wanting a new camera. We've had our camera for over 3 years now and it just wasn't cutting it for us anymore. On Friday Nick surprised me with an early birthday present... a Nikon D40 camera!!! He was planning on giving it to me on my birthday but he was a little too excited and couldn't wait. It was so sweet and probably one of my top presents ever. I love my hubby! Since then I've been learning a lot about photography and thanks to Jason I feel like I'm improving all ready. Yesterday I went with Jason to take bridal pictures. I was his assistant/student, it was a lot of fun and some of the pictures even turned out pretty good!
Yeah, I'm pretty much a pro now.
Some other things that have been going on...
Wyatt has started getting more interested in walking. It's so cute watching him try to walk, he puts his arms straight out in front of him and takes off. He doesn't really know how to slow down or stop once he gets going, so he usually goes until he falls. He has bumped his head quite a few times, but it usually doesn't seem to phase him. Wyatt has also started waving bye bye, and has learned how to go down stairs. I can't believe my little Wy Guy is going to be 1 in 10 days! It's a little sad, but I'm still not ready for another one yet.

Yay, I found your blog. One more I get to stalk. Cool new camera. I think one day I would really like to get into photography, it looks like fun. You look fabulous especially after having a baby.

Your little man is so cute!!!! And I am dying to see some of the picture you are taking I"m so jealous of that gift! Props to Nick!
