My First Mother's Day!

Sunday was my very first Mother's Day. It wasn't exactly how I had pictured my first Mother's Day to be. Probably because Nick is in Florida and I'm still in Idaho. Don't get me wrong it was fun to spend Mother's Day with my own mom, but it was crappy that Nick wasn't here. To make things less Mother's Day like the two moms in the house (my mom and I) made dinner and dessert. It probably tasted better than it would have if my two brothers and dad would have made dinner, but I know my mom felt bad that we had to do it. At least we didn't have to do dishes.

My highlight of Mother's Day where these beautiful flowers that Nick sent me. I figured he would just forget all about it. I need to give him a little more credit. I love my husband. So even though it wasn't my ideal Mother's Day all that matters is that I have Wyatt to be a mom to. I am so lucky to have such a cute precious baby. Being a mom is the most amazing thing ever. I have a new found respect for my mom. She is an amazing person who I owe a lot to. I couldn't ask for a better mom! Oh, and Wyatt's present to me, he rolled over for the first time!

Ah, isn't being a mommy the best. Wyatt is adorable. I can't wait to have another one! I think when maggie is one we'll try for another! It's so great to see how much people I grew up with have changed. I mean I have known you since we were like ten- now look at us- with our own families and everything. Life is so crazy. Its great to see your doing so good. Hows Mich doing?
